Match the mounting hardware to the surface and light system

A light clip is only useful when it fits the mounting surface, bulb or wire orientation, and weather exposure. Start with the surface—gutter, shingle, roof edge, magnetic metal, walkway, lawn, or landscape bed—then confirm product compatibility.

Roof and gutter clips

Check whether the clip is designed for gutters, shingles, tile, fascia, or more than one position. Confirm the compatible bulb sizes and whether the intended orientation points the bulb upward, outward, or downward.

Magnetic and specialty mounting

Magnetic clips require a compatible ferrous metal surface and adequate holding conditions. Adhesive, parapet, ridge, or commercial mounting products have their own surface and load requirements.

Pathway and landscape stakes
